I stacked segment three with "songs you know, done by somebody else", with a slight cheat on the Argent cover (I mean, he's covering himself from his days in The Zombies). I thought it appropriate to put Dylans (Bob and Jacob) back to back, and check out the early take on "Grey Seal" by Elton, recorded in January of 1970, but later re-recorded for the "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" album. By the way, in the liner notes for the CD that was originally from (an Elton rarities double disc), Bernie Taupin says he has NO idea what the lyrics are supposed to be mean. Also have an alternate take on Tommy Bolin's "Marching Powder" called "Marching Bag". The program kicks off with the Double Trouble rhythm section, first with SRV, then with Arc Angels. And the words from Ian Anderson leading into "Mother Goose" were from a 1996 interview. Hope you like!
