Trivia question: What was the first top 40 hit for The Rolling Stones? Answer: the lead song on this week's program! Pulled out a definite obscurity (Evie Sands?), another obscurity from Blood Sweat & Tears (recorded for their second album but not released until the '90s), and a Tower of Power song that SHOULD have been a single, but wasn't. And a great piece of audio from Spiro Agnew, speaking at The National Republican Governors Conference held in Hot Springs, 1969.
