Didn't realize that this latter day (relative to their popularity, anyway) Everly Brothers tune, which didn't even chart in the states, almost went to #1 in England. Thought it appropriate to take Ralph Patterson's rant against the possible decriminalization of weed as a lead-in to a song many have interpreted over the years as being ABOUT weed. I have favorite lesser known songs this week from Smokey and the Miracles, Paul Simon, and America, and the novelty of having both one hit wonders sung by the same guy. Ah, and a final song entry from Boz, in light of the announcement that he's going to be in concert here in Little Rock in a couple of months.
